I used both plastic ziploc bags (which looked very strange on the tree) and nylon footies (which I have used in the past). The ziploc apples are beautifully colored and free of any pests, while of course the footie ones have some coddling moth. And this year the squirrels or some other critter are eating them right through the nylon footies! Even though there are plenty of unbagged ones. Hmmm. I will probably go with a combo again next year and put more of the ziploc baggies on the far side of the tree where I don’t have to see them.
